With digitisation on the rise, there are decades worth of archived documents taking up office space and rental space. These rooms filled with documents are incredibly unorganised, often leading to missing documents, the wasting of time for HR and even GDPR issues.
Our client, a global food supplier, was facing this exact issue. They were storing 15 years’ worth of documents, taking up precious space in their offices, and causing the document retrieval process to be particularly disorganised.
The Solution

In the case of this client, their aim was to securely destroy and shred the 15 years’ worth of documents that they’d accumulated, whilst also keeping remaining essential documents for document storage. The client needed this completed on-site, within a 2 week window. As with such a large shredding job, it’s important that we recycle 100% of paper waste, as well as cardboard, electronic waste and product waste. At Shredall SDS Group, we are committed to making sure that none of the waste we can recycle goes to landfill. The Result
Our work resulted in 25,000kg of shredding within the short window of 2 weeks, as well as the onsite boxing of 328 records into document boxes, which were indexed at a file level for document storage for the client.
They now have a few empty offices that are ready to be refurbished and they can trust that their files are kept safe. They can easily retrieve hard copies of their files when needed.
