Our client, the Scotland Housing Association, wanted to go digital with their employee records. Our client's aim was to save space in their office, make it easier for their employees to access their documents and records, and to set up a way to keep on top of the continuous documents they handle on a daily basis.
The solution
Shredall SDS Group has vast experience in helping businesses with their digitisation journey. When it comes to the destruction, shredding and recycling of archived documents and records, we hold ourselves to the highest standards when it comes to security, compliance and environmental commitments.
We worked closely with the Scotland Housing Association to understand the specific demands of their industry and ensure we had the correct compliance in place. To stay in control of their documentation, we set up a weekly scheduled shredding service across their 13 sites across Scotland. This also included the addition of consoles and shredding bins on their 13 sites to make the process as smooth as possible.
Without effective scanning facilities, getting their documents online would be costly and time consuming to do in-house. Working with us, 40-50 boxes of the client's documents were able to be sent off for document scanning at our secure facilities, ready for them to be accessed quickly online.
The result
Our document scanning and shredding services provided a time saving, hassle free solution to the Scotland Housing Association’s challenge. Their sites are now fully prepared for continuous weekly shredding, and the bulk of their documents are scanned, allowing the client to have enhanced access to their records and making valuable room in their offices.
